This easy to use calculator helps you identify the correct size of metal pipe boxing for your project. By entering a few key details and dimensions, the casing size will be calculated and recommended from our standard online range.
When calculating an L shaped metal pipe boxing size from our online range, the dimensions you input will need to be within the maximum figures given below:
- X = 200mm
- Y = 300mm
If any of your dimensions fall outside of these limits, please contact us and we will be happy to help you specify a bespoke solution.

1 - Calculating the boxing size
- Select the fixing method you require from the drop down box
- Input the X and Y dimensions of your steelwork, up to the maximums shown
- Select the required length using the drop down box
- The calculator will automatically identify the correct product while also displaying a diagram of the boxing to confirm the sizes and chosen fixing method
- If you want to amend the product type or sizes, just change them and click the ‘Update’ button
2 - Select quantity and finish colour
- Enter the quantity you need in the box provided
- Choose a colour from our range of RAL finishes
- Click the ‘Add to cart’ button or ‘Save as quote’
